Schöne Neue Welt was a two-day environmental conference held in Berlin which provided a critical reflection of our current social situation and the challenges of the coming decades.

The task was to create a symbol and accompanying visual aesthetic which encouraged those attending to move between the future and present, utopia and dystopia, in a dynamic, tactile manner which engaged the senses and inspired the mind.

The pill symbolises the choice to take action and responsibility for the environment and our future within it.
